This results in a situation in which an employee can boast years of experience and extensive knowledge in his or her industry industry, however, it is not a field in which he or she has a degree from a university degree, with the result that his actual competence is not confirmed by by relevant documents. Another important issue is the diversity of the systems of of education in different countries, which make it difficult to effectively compare competencies, and additionally do not take into account the qualifications acquired by adults through the accumulation of work experience, courses and training, and self-education. These circumstances have given rise to the need to develop a unified system for confirming the competencies of professionals for the needs of the international labor market labor market, as well as those of the interested parties themselves, which over time time came to be known as certification.
